    • General Collective Lifestyle & Design Market features an extensive, yet curated, selection of food vendors offering a variety of delicious breakfast and lunch options cooked fresh to order in a food truck. Artisan food, snacks, sweet treats and beverages are also available, for both consumption at the event or 'take home'. You are welcome to enjoy a meal or refreshments while shopping.

    Is there parking available at General Collective markets & events?

    • Parking availability varies depending on the event location.

    • Auckland Showgrounds parking rates are $6 first hour, $2 thereafter up to a maximum of $18.00. Current at 7 November 2023, subject to change, check current pricing directly with Auckland Showgrounds. 

    • Check event details or social media Facebook & Instagram for information on parking options and any associated costs.

    Can I bring my dog or other pets to a General Collective market or event?
    • Each event varies as to whether dogs or pets are allowed. 

    • Service animals are welcome at all markets & events.

    • It is essential to keep pets on a leash & under control to ensure the safety & comfort of all attendees.

    • Pets at other special events, collaborative events or workshops will be specific to the event, and information included within the event detail.

    • Indoor market venues offer restroom facilities. They will be marked or indicated on event maps.

    • Outdoor market venues may or may not offer onsite restroom facilities.

    Can I use credit or debit cards to make purchases from vendors?
    • Several vendors at General Collective markets accept credit and debit card payments.

    • It's advisable to carry some cash, as not all vendors may have card payment facilities, and ATM's are not available at all venues. 

    Is there an ATM to withdrawal money?

    • ATM availability varies depending on the event location.

      • Ponsonby Central has a private cash withdrawal machine with a withdrawal fee, located outside the main bathrooms on ground level (The walkway from Bedford Soda to Bird on a Wire). 

      • Glasshouse, Morningside has no ATM in the precinct. 

      • Auckland Showgrounds no longer has an ATM available. It's advisable to bring cash, although some vendors will have Eftpos facilities.

      Can I bring my own bags or carts to carry my purchases?
      • Yes, you are encouraged to bring your reusable bags or carts to carry your purchases. It's an eco-friendly choice and helps make your shopping experience more convenient.

      • General Collective Shopper Bags are available to purchase at the General Collective Lifestyle & Market for $10 each. To purchase, ask the team at the main entrance info desk on arrival.

      Are you able to store my suitcase/luggage?

      • If you're visiting the General Collective Lifestyle & Design Market at Auckland Showgrounds, and have luggage with you, come and see our team at the main entry desk and we'll do our best to store it for you so you can enjoy the event with ease.

        • Some market venues provide seating areas for visitors to rest & enjoy their purchases. 

        • Plenty of seating in the food area is available at the General Collective Lifestyle & Design Market.
